Custom Kitchen Flooring

Whether your new kitchen floors are a solo project or part of a much larger remodeling project, our team at precision remodeling is happy to walk you through the ins and outs of kitchen flooring to make sure you get the best possible end result. From design, to material selection, and installation, we do it all and we will make sure that the process goes smoothly from beginning to end. Keep in mind that floors are usually installed after all demolition, structural buildout, plumbing, construction is finished and before cabinets, countertops and appliances are installed. If you are doing your floors as part of a full remodel, make sure you have the earlier steps taken care of first.

Flooring Material Selection

One of the first steps is to choose which material you’d like for your new floors. There are many options to choose from, each with their own set of benefits and downsides. You should also keep in mind that each material is best suited for a particular budget. Not only does each material have a different price range, but installation costs for each one is quite different because of the time commitment. We provide the following flooring options for you to choose from:

  • Sheet Vinyl Kitchen Flooring ($)
  • Laminate Kitchen Flooring ($)
  • Hardwood Kitchen Flooring ($)
  • Engineered Wood Kitchen Flooring ($)
  • Tile Kitchen Flooring ($)
  • Marble/Stone Kitchen Flooring ($)

Kitchen Floor Design

Even within those material options, there are many colors and patterns to choose from for each category. This can be a really fun process for those who have a taste for design, but if you aren’t sure where to start we are always happy to lend some recommendations, depending on your current or future kitchen design, floor plan and style.

Kitchen Flooring Installation

In addition to sourcing the materials and walking you through your design and color options, we also make sure that your floors are properly installed so that they will be durable and last for years to come. As we mentioned above, different materials require different time frames for installation, with vinyl and laminate flooring needing about one day for installation, hardwood taking around three days, and tile and stone taking up to a week.
